The future of medicine how science is changing health Care

Science and technology have transformed the health care industry, improving patient outcomes, enhancing the quality of care and increasing efficiency, and making health care and self care technologies key for improving health and wellness of humanity.

The future of medicine is unfolding and unprecedented pace, driven by groundbreaking scientific discoveries and technological advancement. From personalized genomics to artificial intelligence, assisted diagnosis, is transforming daily to provide more precise, and effective patient centered care

The federal Polytechnic bauchi scientific staff and technologist aspirants have expressed their opinions about science and technology in the  revolution of health care.

In a recent interview with Mr, Buhari Ladan a senior staff of the Science, Laboratory technology (SLT) of the federal polytechnic Bauchi. Expresses that, science is like a breath to humans and he so much have passion for it,  that's what brought him to the Polytechnic. he states that he enjoys teaching and impacting knowledge on his students, which in turn will help sharpens the future of lab sciencist.

Mr, Buhari Ladan said "Science, Laboratory technology contributed alot in the health care system, because must of the diagnosis of the laboratory pertaining the micro biology, bio chemistry, physic and many more, are being made in various options stated earlier, which helps in dictating early diseases, such as Malaria parasite, typhoid, while hypertesis and HIV/AID can be dictated or tested using strip method, non medical test like quality assurance can also be done within the lab"

In addition, Mr, Buhari explained that, the major challenge faced by the morden health care system globally, is digitalization, indequate mordern equipment in the laboratory in Nigerian and most institutions is a major concern, " if government will make mordern laboratory equipment available,it will bring about innovation and diverse discoveries for more factual, relaible and accurate results" he said.

In a remark, Mr, Buhari also states that,"despite the challenges faced in the science, laboratory technology, we make sure that our students are well equiped and trained in the medical and industrial laboratories of both the local and and international standard, through collaboration with other institutions and governmental bodies for proper medical practices".

Further more,  Mr, Sunday John student of science, laboratory technology(SLT) stated that he wants to be in the lab because his aim is to make ways in diagnosing a lot of diseases,  to help in eradicating some of this impending diseases.

"A lot of people have come across this , and at the end of the day they will not get proper treatment or medication, so through lab test we will pave a way, we are going to innovate by doing research" he Said.

Mr Sunday also narrated that he is undergoing an experiment called baselos- sorengesis to determine the efficasy of lavisida activity of it against mosquitoes "am using it as a bio control agent to kill mosquitoes". He explained

He further agreed that science and technology will change the narrative of health care treatment and diagnosis in the future 100percent " through the scientists and under the lab, we base on research,we make research, we also work on existing protocols, then we enhance and check the loopos on everything " he added.

Therefore, iheme innocent a student of SLT (HND 2) further explained that science can be used to address social and environmental and social issues, " there are some diseases that when been affected, people will be running away from you, but with the invention of science and technological concept such diseases will be mitigated and eradicate" he explained.

" Initially there are different ways in which we treat diseases back then in those days in which some people use herbs and so many concoctions to treat some infections and disease that are not measurable, but now science have modernized some of this ways of treating sickness and disease to make life easy " he added

Mr iheme further advised young people who are aspirant in science as career to think versatile, have passion for their vocational field of endeavors,be disciplined, innovative, and to be dedicated in their academic pursuit, and must importantly be good in calculations.

In Conclusion, as we emback on this revolutionary journey, one thing is sure and clear, that the future of medicine is brighter than ever, and science is leading the way, which helps track health issues and encourages people to be more active in maintaining wellness.
